What I know is… mental health issues, diagnoses and disabilities are a small part of who we are as individuals. There are many successful, self sufficient and happy people that struggle with disabilities and mental health challenges.

What I do is… help people live balanced, fulfilling lives by focusing on their strengths to reach their goals.

I offer a holistic approach, recognizing that the mind and body work together to create optimal health. I never assume two clients are exactly alike based on their diagnosis as each person’s struggle is unique to his or her situation and life experience. Many of my clients are high functioning people who have trouble shutting their brains off and are hard on themselves. I specialize in helping people create balance and work through life challenges.

I use a variety of approaches to address my client’s unique needs. There is a growing body of research that supports the practice of self-compassion and mindfulness in psychotherapy. Neuroscience research reveals individuals that practice these techniques are happier, more resilient, and better equipped to heal painful memories from the past. I work to continually improve my clinical skills through ongoing professional development and use a variety of modalities, including but not limited to the following:

  • Mindfulness/ Self Compassion
  • Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
  • Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocesssing (EMDR)
  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)
  • Comprehensive Resource Model

It is my honor to help my clients move past what’s blocking them from reaching their full potential individually and in their relationships. Together we will create a tailored plan to help you sustain the growth experienced in therapy.
